Newkind Festival
A four-day immersive workshop festival on the coast of Tasmania. Newkind was a story-driven environment in which attendees purchased tickets for one of six different factions representing various archetypes of humanity. An immersive theatrical narrative began with guerilla marketing and narrative-driven video prior to the event. Once arriving onsite attendees were onboarded into an Alternate Reality Game which allowed them to level up through their factions by attending workshops, activities and following clues. Their statuses were tracked via an RFID passport. The event was a drug and alcohol-free serving healthy vegan meals three times a day. Live bands, DJ's and open mics kept the vibe going into the evening.
