USC Next Level Sports

Brief

USC launched Next Level Sports as an all-day conference about where sport, media and business are heading, held at Intuit Dome in October 2024. It was the first edition, with no previous year to build on.

Approach

I produced it around a program of more than thirty speakers, hosted by Annenberg Dean Willow Bay, Marshall Dean Geoffrey Garrett and Bloomberg's Jason Kelly. The bill included NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala, ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro and USC basketball star JuJu Watkins.

Outcome

Nearly 500 attendees at Intuit Dome for the inaugural edition. The conference has since run again in 2025.
