Together Fund

Brief

The Together Fund was a $5M creator program aimed at the loneliness epidemic, backed by a SoftBank-funded startup: give community leaders money, mentorship and resources, then let them build the gatherings their own communities need. The design problem is funding other people's ideas without slowly turning them into yours.

Approach

I executive produced the program and led the collaboration with agency partners across grassroots marketing and activation. We supported events nationwide, among them a dinner series to destigmatize conversation about mass incarceration, a cherry blossom festival of music, art and yoga, a color therapy light and movement installation, and a dog adoption picnic.

Outcome

A $5M fund deployed nationally, generating more than 73M press UVMs and a 45% lift in community engagement.
